心の中に住む人々

自分の中に住んでいる人が多いほど

その人の心は広大である。

と誰かが言った。

私には理解できない行動の人も

私と異なる考えの人も

もちろん私の好きな人も

私が今までに出会って別れた人も

もうこの世にいない人も

本や映画など物語に出てくる人も

使う言語がちがう人も

罪をつくり他者を殺めた人も

・・

この世にはいろんな人がいて

私にとっていいとかわるいではなく

私も含めて網目のようにつながっている。

私の内に住む人々を切り捨てず殺さず

歳を重ねるほど

私の心に住む人が多くなる

そういう一生をおくりたいと

その人は言った。

現実の世界で一緒に住むのは難しくても

心の中ならいいでしょう、と。
