古米

昨年収穫したお米を

今日近所の方に籾すりして頂いた。

うちにはお米用の保冷庫はないので

部屋の中に米保管庫を置いており

そこに籾の状態で保管する。

さすがに真夏は暑くて暑くて

籾にも虫がつく。

ちょっと見づらいけど、ここらへんでツミと呼ばれている

米にたかる虫。他にコクゾウ虫もわく。

古古米は今年の６月頃ようやく頂き終えて

それから今度は古米を頂く。

新米はなるべくいいところ育ちのものを

お客さんにあてるので

籾で残しておいたお米は日陰育ちのもの。

でも自分で育てたお米で一年通せるのは幸せ。
